Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN - Baylor Grapevine - Nights

The PCU Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating and coordinating patient care. Our PCU RN ensures that patient care meets standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights and guest relations. Our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RNs supervise care delivered by the patient care team; coordinates plan of care; provides education for patients and staff; collaborates with other disciplines and provides direct patient care for specific patient age groups.

Baylor PCU Nurses are expert practitioners and valued partners on the critical care team. The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN improves patient outcomes with evidence-based practice and are recognized for their accomplishments. We take care of post PCI/Cath Lab, post CABG/thoracotomy and vascular patients who can have chest tubes, IV vasoactive drips, arterial lines and central lines. We also specialize in Congestive Heart Failure as well as Arrhythmia management. Our dedicated team is looking for nurses who are passionate about cardiovascular care in the step-down setting.

Associates required.

Bachelors preferred.

Minimum 1 year experience. Med/Surg or Emergency Department preferred.

CPR, BLS and ACLS required.

PCCN (Progressive Care Certified Nurse) preferred.
